Charlie’s Friday Favourites

Fave Piece of Content

Brian, Doreen & Geoff Dickinson, 1953-1959, England, Shared by robbthompson

Last week I featured a Charabanc with stylish 1930s men and women. This week it’s all about matching jackets on a tandem bike, defiantly made for two . They are accompanied by their baby in his ever so stylish separate side car- ready to cruise down Victoria St, Chorley, Lancashire. When viewing in Street View - click on the image pinned behind, another photo uploaded by robbthompson showing the Dickinson family a few years later. The little family have grown, cute.

Fave Story of the Week

Holidays as kids, 1983, Weymouth, Shared by Parsonago

OK – it looks like I have gone a little vehicle mad. However this vehicle wouldn’t get you very far. Parsonago shares her stories of sisterly holidays in Weymouth, enjoying the lights, noise, candy floss and rides that Weymouth had to offer.

Pinner of the Week

Cagsawa Ruins, 1895-1905, Philippines, Shared by angkangpilipino

#PINNEROFTHEWEEK is awarded to angkangpilipino for the amazing selection of photos in the Phillippines. Totally loving this photo titled Flooded Espanya  a colour photo showing children playing in flood waters in 1975. But the total winner for me this week is PMAers in Wright Park, five cadets basking in the sun in their unifroms, lush. See ankangpilipino’s full profile here.
